Work Environment & Format
The Loss Control Specialist role is a remote position, based in Southern California.
Job Overview
The Loss Control Specialist, represents CIG to our policy holders, providing loss control inspection and consultation as needed. Responsible for supporting loss control strategies focused on risk selection and pricing support to improve overall quality and profitability of the Company’s book of business.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years inspection experience with municipality or insurance inspection company
- Bachelor’s degree, business, risk management, health & safety, physical science, OR Associates degree, Fire protection, building code, drafting, engineering or science
- Familiarity with NFPA and building-code regulations
- Familiarity with federal and state laws, OSHA, ADA, Cal-OHSA
- Laws, regulations, policies, and procedures of Insurance Loss Control
- Computer systems – Microsoft Office
- Clean MVR and current/valid CA driver’s license and automobile insurance
Salary Range: $47,622- $78,576

We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
