Work Environment & Format

The Client Service Representative I – Billing & Admin Support is a temporary to full-time in-office position located in our Monterey, CA office.

Job Overview

Responsible for fulfilling the Company’s service objectives by providing prompt, accurate and courteous service to agents, policyholders, and business partners concerning policy transactions, renewals, customer inquiries, and requests for information. Utilizing the Company’s automated systems, the CSR I will respond to inquiries concerning policy transactions, renewals, policy coverage, premium billings and payment status, basic policy information, and routine coverage. The CSR I will have an individual level of authority as assigned by Client Services Management. This position represents the “front-line” of customer service and customer perceptions and is critical in demonstrating the Company’s commitment to complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Knowledge of:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak and write grammatically correct English.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance and policy information.
  • Knowledge of Business mathematics.

Ability to:

  • Work accurately with detail consistently.
  • Organize and prioritize daily work to meet critical deadlines.
  • Operate personal computer and keyboard with accuracy and efficiency.

Education and Experience:

  • The equivalent of a high school diploma.

Salary Range: $32,739 - $47,847

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as benefits and bonus programs.
