Work Format

The Communications intern is an in-office position in our Monterey, CA office.

Job Overview

The Communications Intern will assist the Communications team with research and development of internal and external messaging. Candidates must pay meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to self-monitor mistakes, troubleshoot, closely follow a process, possess excellent communication skills, and have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.
  • The Communications Intern is an entry level position with 0-3 years of experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills – PowerPoint development, news releases, newsletters, executive briefing documents.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain assignments in project tracker to ensure timely completion of projects; ensure compliance to corporate brand standards.
  • Self-starter, strong problem solver and project owner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, Mac and PC.
  • Graphic Design proficiency preferred.

Salary: $20/hourly
