Work Environment

The Claim Representative II role is a hybrid eligible (field) position in our Bakersfield, CA office.

Job Overview

The primary purpose of a Claim Representative II is to investigate, evaluate, and resolve commercial and personal lines property and inland marine claims. Demonstrates superior claim service and produces appropriate claim settlements to our clients. It is incumbent upon this individual to understand regulations and the jurisdiction(s) involved in the claims being evaluated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and two to five years of claims handling experience
• Advanced technical training in insurance claim field and/or AIC designation is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge with estimating software such as Xactimate
• Proven ability to comprehend complex contracts, technical journals pertaining to Insurance claim laws and regulations.

Salary Range: $53,508-88,288

We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
