Work Environment & Format
This is a hybrid-eligible position, where Monday through Wednesday would be working in one of our offices, with Thursday and Friday eligible for work-from-home days. Office locations include: Monterey (CA), Roseville (CA), Bakersfield (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and Spokane (WA).
Job Overview
As Associate Product Manager this position is responsible for the development and delivery of new and enhanced Commercial and/or Agriculture lines products and services to the Capital Insurance Group enterprise.
The Associate Product Manager develops and implements new products, coverages, services and enhancements; revises coverage forms, rules, guidelines, processes and directs the implementation of product changes for commercial and/or Ag products. This role will work closely with both the Senior Product Manager- Commercial and Senior Product Manager-Agriculture, collaborating closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Marketing and Field partners. This role serves as subject matter expert for internal departments to ensure an accurate delivery of the products and services to the marketplace. May also perform other duties as required or assigned by Senior Product Manager.
Requirements
Overall knowledge of commercial underwriting practices, procedures, rules and regulations
Extensive knowledge of policies, coverage, rating, and procedures for assigned line of business
Maintain valid drivers’ license and accommodate overnight travel for business related reasons
College Degree in finance, business administration, insurance or other related business discipline is preferred including a minimum of two-three years challenging assignments in a Commercial Lines Product Management role.
Proficiency in Excel is required.
CPCU and other insurance related continuing education is preferred.
Salary Range: $71,606 - $118,150
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as benefits and bonus programs.
